WIN Issues New Report and Survey Findings Highlighting Why More Women Die From Heart Disease Than Men

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

WIN will improve research science at it relates to gender-based questions in interventional cardiology, working in partnership with relevant organizations to:

  • Develop pre-specified endpoints for women participating in cardiovascular clinical trials so that studies are powered to equally answer the questions in both men and women.

  • Support these research initiatives through the development of research tracks for female interventional cardiologists, providing them with access to the tools and resources necessary to facilitate their work.

  • Provide fellowship and general research grants in interventional cardiology to promote innovation in women-specific research.
